How to Send Funds to Cypher from a Non-Custodial Wallet

Updated today

You can receive crypto into your Cypher wallet from any supported non-custodial wallet by following the steps below.

Step-by-step guide

  1. Open the Cypher app
Go to your Portfolio page and tap [Receive]

  2. Select the network
Choose the blockchain network from which you want to receive funds (for example, Ethereum, Solana, or Base)

  3. Copy your Cypher wallet address
Copy the wallet address shown for the selected network.

Note: This address can be used to receive all tokens supported on that specific network

  4. Open your sending wallet
Go to the non-custodial wallet where your funds are currently stored

  5. Choose the token and amount
Select the token you want to send, enter the amount, and paste the Cypher wallet address you copied earlier

  6. Confirm and send
Review the details and confirm the transaction in your sending wallet

  7. Wait for confirmation
Once the transaction is confirmed on-chain, the funds will appear in your Cypher wallet.

Important things to keep in mind

  • Match the network correctly
The network selected in Cypher must match the network used in your sending wallet.

  • Transactions are irreversible
Crypto transfers cannot be canceled or reversed once sent.

  • Ensure gas fees
Make sure your sending wallet has enough of the network’s native token to cover gas fees. We also recommend sending a small amount of the native token to your Cypher wallet to cover fees for future transfers.

Pro tip

Once funds arrive in Cypher, you can spend instantly using your Cypher Card, or swap and bridge assets directly from your non-custodial wallet.
